Our History
Hamilton Transportation in Bunkie, LA is owned by Bobby and Denice Hamilton. Bobby has been in the trucking business since the 1970's when he began driving a truck himself. Throughout the 1980’s, Bobby operated his own truck hauling grain. In 1999, Hamilton Transportation, LLC was started and has been in business ever since. Hamilton Transportation now operates as a flatbed company and will run the entire lower 48 states.
Our Future
In 2010, Bobby’s son, Hunter, joined forces to take the company into future endeavors. They’ve focused on modernizing and improving their workflow to center around effective driver management and deliveries. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! Careers with Hamilton Transportation
We offer very competitive Company Driver pay. Drivers make 25% of the gross money that the truck makes. With a 1% bump after $4,000.
We offer frequent and flexible home time. We pride ourselves on working with our drivers when they need to be home.
We offer AFLAC accident and life insurance policies for company drivers and owner operators. Additionally, we offer Dental coverage as well.
We offer Owner Operators the use of our fuel card with weekly settlement checks. We offer a graduating pay scale, you can take home up to 85% of gross revenue.
Dedicated Service
We offer a dedicated service. With our dedicated service you get full and exclusive use of the equipment along with expedited delivery.
LTL Service
We also offer a dedicated service for those with smaller freight that is not pressed for time. We can offer it on a space and directional basis with flexible delivery.
